Down By The Salley Gardens
Another song of love lost (not a pattern emerging here, I hope). Down By The Salley Gardens is a poem by William Butler Yeats first published in 1889. The music came earlier I think. Here's a lovely version I found on YouTube by the Japanese vocalist Emi Fujita (It's a pity the images on the video are so random):
